Partners

We don’t do everything.
We stay accountable for all of it.

A short list of specialists we trust with the parts of a growth plan that are not ours to build, held at rates you would not get approaching them cold. And, separately, a way for people who advise business owners to sell our work and earn on it.

Why there is a list at all

A growth strategy nearly always calls for something we do not do in-house. Production, organic search, and the work of making a business’s credibility visible are three of them. We could pretend otherwise and quietly subcontract. We would rather tell you who is doing the work and why we chose them.

The list is deliberately short. A partner goes on it after we have watched them deliver for a real client, and they only go in front of you when the work is genuinely theirs to do. We are not a directory and we do not sell listings.

It reaches past Melbourne. We work with partners in the United Kingdom for clients selling into that market, and we are in conversation with specialists in areas we do not cover yet, traditional media buying among them.

Content production

Savvas Studio

George Michael · Managing director and co-founder · Melbourne

Savvas Studio is a Melbourne creative studio built around production. Video, photography and social content, shot properly rather than assembled from a stock library. George runs it as managing director alongside co-founder Nicholas Kehaidis, who leads the creative direction.

Their own line is that ideas are easy and execution is everything, which is close to why we work with them. A content plan is worth very little until somebody turns up with a camera and knows exactly what the shot is for.

We bring them in when

A strategy calls for content that has to be made rather than repurposed: a brand film, a product or location shoot, or a social library that needs one consistent look across a year.

Search and SEO

Ready to Rank

Jose Chavez · Founder · Melbourne

Ready to Rank is a Melbourne SEO agency Jose founded in 2019. Local search, content, technical work, link building and e-commerce, aimed squarely at businesses competing against larger budgets than their own.

Search is where we stop and he starts. We build the site, the tracking and the offer; Jose makes the pages earn their position. That work counts for more now that an assistant often summarises the answer before anyone clicks anything.

We bring them in when

Organic search is the gap: a site that should rank and does not, a local presence that is not showing up, or a catalogue that needs structure before it can compete.

Francis Yim, founder of Fantestimonial
Trust and testimonials

Fantestimonial

Francis Yim · Founder · Melbourne

Fantestimonial is Francis's Melbourne practice, and it does one thing: it makes the trust a business has already earned visible to the people deciding whether to buy. Video testimonials, customer stories and case studies, built off a diagnostic rather than a shot list.

He spent more than two decades in documentary and marketing video before starting it, and it shows in the output. Real customers talking, not actors reading. Attention starts the conversation, as he puts it, and trust is what closes it.

We bring them in when

The advertising is working and the pipeline still stalls. Plenty of leads, not enough of them closing, because nothing a prospect can actually see proves the business does what it says.

How it works

You get our rate, not their rate card.

We bring these partners repeatable, properly briefed work. In return we hold rates that are not on their public price lists, and those rates apply while the work runs through us. It is the reason to come to us rather than to go and find three suppliers yourself.

01

It surfaces in the strategy.

You rarely have to ask. The work that is not ours to do shows up while we are mapping what exists today against what has to be built, and we name it there.

02

We write the brief.

The specialist is briefed against a strategy we already own, with the scope, the price and the deadline agreed before anything starts. Nobody is paying an expert to work out what the job is.

03

You deal with us.

One point of contact, one invoice and one person accountable for whether the work lands. The partner rate applies for as long as the work runs through us.

For transparency: we may receive a referral fee when we introduce a client to a partner, and a partner may receive one for introducing a client to us. It never changes the rate you are quoted, and we would not put anyone on this page we did not rate.

Affiliate programme

Sell what we build.
Earn on it.

This runs separately to the network above. If you already advise business owners, or you sit across a client base that keeps asking for the things we do, you can put our work in front of them and take a share of what they buy. It is an application rather than a sign-up. We approve affiliates one at a time and you have an agreement in hand before you sell anything.

What you can sell

Growth retainers

Starter, Core and Growth. Strategy, advertising, systems and reporting run as an ongoing engagement.

10% of the monthly retainer

For the client's first 12 months, paid as each invoice is settled.

Audits and builds

The Growth Blueprint, conversion sites, growth systems and custom applications.

10% of the project value

On a client's first project only, paid once their final payment clears.

Tends2

Our AI concierge at tends2.com, sold on its own subscription and billed separately.

10% of the subscription

For the first 12 months, paid each billing cycle as it is collected.

Figures are ex GST and are the terms we run today. The commission that binds either of us is the one written into the affiliate agreement you sign on approval.

What carries no commission
  • Ad spend. It is the client's money and it goes straight to the platform, so there is nothing in it for us to share.
  • The management fee charged on ad spend above $1,000 a month.
  • Second and later projects from the same client. The first one pays, the ones after it do not.
  • Tends2 when it is already bundled inside a Growth retainer, because the retainer commission covers it.
Who we are looking for

Agencies, studios, consultants, bookkeepers, accountants and advisors with a client base they know well enough to know when one of them has a growth problem rather than a marketing one.

People who would be comfortable putting their own name next to ours, because we will be judged together. We hold the same standard in the other direction.

We are not looking for coupon or deal sites, link farms, or anyone whose plan is to post a link and hope. Volume is not the point here. One well-matched introduction a quarter is worth more to both of us.

Apply

Tell us who you look
after, and what you’d sell.

It takes about three minutes. One of our team reads every application personally and comes back either way, usually within two business days. If it is a fit, the next step is a short call and the agreement.

Prefer to talk it through first? Book a call and ask. Nothing on this page has to be decided over email.

What would you expect to sell?

We use what you send here to assess the application and get back to you, nothing else. See our privacy policy.

Before you ask

Will you go around me to my client?

No. Introduce a client and we will not approach them about anything else unless you have cleared it first. That holds after the commission period ends.

What happens if the client cancels?

Commission follows the money. It is payable on funds we actually receive, so if a client stops paying, is refunded or never pays, the commission stops or is pro-rated to whatever we keep. We settle within 14 days of a client's funds clearing.

Can I sell it under my own brand instead?

On some services, yes. That is a white-label arrangement rather than an affiliate one: you contract the client, you carry the relationship and the payment risk, and you buy from us at a partner rate you mark up yourself. Ask and we will quote it.

Do I need to be registered for GST?

Not to apply. Commission figures are quoted ex GST, and if you are registered you add GST to your invoice as usual.
